Wild Australia Metal Garden Art started with a pretty simple mission — I wanted to find the perfect gift for my mum. Something uniquely Australian. Something fun and a little bit whimsical. Something that would last for years in the garden without costing a fortune.

The only problem? I couldn’t find anything that was quite what I had in mind…so I decided to make something myself.

What began as one handmade piece has grown into our own design studio in Mandurah, Western Australia. We’re a proudly Aussie-owned small business, creating steel sculptures that celebrate the beauty, toughness and personality of this incredible country.

Every piece is cut from solid 3mm Corten steel — a special weathering steel that’s made to live outdoors. Over time, it develops a rich, deep patina that not only looks gorgeous but protects the steel underneath. It’s low-maintenance, incredibly durable, and designed to handle harsh Australian sun, wind and rain for decades to come. The longer it’s in your garden, the better it looks!

Our designs are inspired by the wildlife and rural life we love. From cheeky quokkas and curious quolls to kookaburras and goannas, we create pieces that reflect the animals that make Australia so special. You’ll also find a nod to country life, with classic outback windmills, loyal blue heelers and timeless cattle hands. Each design is uniquely ours, created to bring a bit of character and storytelling into gardens, farms and outdoor spaces across Australia.
